Praise be to the Almighty Allah with Whose blessings Iqbal Memorial Institute was founded under the aegis of IMT in the year 1981 with the objectives of ushering in a movement for the value based quality education in Kashmir Valley and achieving excellence in this field in particular and in other fields in general so that budding youth of the state are put on a path of academic excellence and righteousness. The institute has been striving hard to develop positive attitude in students so that they are in a position to make positive contribution towards the society in the field of science and technology and good moral behavior. The Institute aims at preparing the students to face the challenges of life with profound resolution, dedication, wisdom and sincerity, the challenges envisaged in globalization.
