Qiraat & Naat Competition - 2019. (Higher Secondary Department, Girls)
Qirat and Naat competition was organized by Higher Secondary Department, IMI(G) on 30 May, 2019 which was presided over by Dr. Yusuf-ul-Omer Sb, Chairman, IMT. Er.Muhammad Amin Qureshi, Worthy Secretary, I.M.T and Prof. Masood Ahmed, Resp.Co-ordinator, IMI+2 Wings were Guest of Honour for the event.
The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Ms. Bareera and Ms. Sundus, students of.Class XI . The Qirat competition assumed more significance owing to the fact that the month of Ramadhan is going on, the month in which Holy Quran descended.
There were eight participants from Class XI & XII for Qirat and nine participants for Naat Competition.
The winners of Qirat Competition are as follows:
Bareera Irshad (11th Class) ---- 1st Position
Mehvish (11th Class) ---- 2nd Position
Najm-u-Sehar (11th Class) ---- 3rd Position
The winners of Naat Competition are as follows:
Tuba Khan (12th Class) ---- 1st Position
Bareera Irshad (11th Class) ---- 2nd Position
Ansab Manzoor (11th Class) ---- 3rd Position
Trophies, medals and certificates were awarded to the winners by the Chief Guest, Dr.Yusuf-ul-Omer. The jury comprised of Dr. Manzoor Ahmad & Syed Manzoor Ahmad Andrabi. Vote of thanks was presented by Respected Principal, IMI+2WG in which he thanked esteemed guests, staff and participants for helping to make it a successful and memorable event. The programme concluded with the Du’a by Mr. Mohammad Yusuf, Lecturer on staff.
