Islamic ambience

Like any other reputed institution of the valley, IMI imparts quality education to its students, but what makes IMI the special one is that the Iqbalians are well versed with Islamic knowledge. ‘Education is the road to progress and prosperity, but Islamic knowledge facilitates an intense development of human intellect,’ says Dr. Yusuf ul Omer, Chairman, IMI.

Islamic ethos, etiquettes and behaviour as per the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah guidelines are encouraged in students at IMI.

The girls and boys at IMI are segregated, and have separate but equal facilities and classes, from LKG onwards.

The IMI School Uniform adheres to the Islamic dress code and Hijaab.

Congregational Prayers are offered daily in the school by students. Much rejoicing and fun is seen amongst students at the ‘Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha Events’ organized by IMI.

The girls adhere to the Islamic Hijaab while being trained for Co-curricular Activities. The boys adhere to the Islamic dress code while being trained in Co-curricular Activities round the year and particularly in Ramadhaan, recitation of Qur'an, Naat, Islamic Seminars, Quizzes and Debates are led by the IMI students, separately for girls and boys, to train the students of IMI.

The true understanding, motivation about and practice of Islamic guidelines are inculcated in the students by well - versed and modern ‘youth oriented’ teachers. The Character, Courage and Confidence of the students are strengthened in their personality trait, coaxingly.
